Fallen Motion Graphics

The original artwork was a sketch in my sketchbook in 2009, and I still had the original file of my original Photoshop work.

This was another goal of mine when I was wrapping up at UMASS Boston at the end of 2017.

Despite the fact that I still had my original Photoshop file, I STILL had to rework it and often repaint much of it at the end of 2017 to update it for HD motion graphics in Adobe After Effects CC. This was soooooooo much work. You have no idea. I can only imagine how tedious this would have been if it were a fulling animated character piece.
These slower more down-tempo styles were a huge challenge for me, because as an animator and an artist my work was always more dynamic & fast paced. So, this pulled me out of my element and out of my comfort zone. The lighting effects alone are multiple layers.
I've been experimenting more with MOOD and subjectivity rather than objectivity/goal drive stuff.
